2008 Updates:
- The fifth and final "Ghost Walk Before Christmas" on December 21st was in limbo all day. The weather was threatening and forced us to change plans for the 6 courageous souls who still attended. Half the show was indoors complete with hot chocolate as the snow coldly fell outside. This was an amazing way to close the season. - Due to a change in personal plans, a 4th walk was possible and scheduled for December 18th. Although it got off to a shaky start, it recovered enough to give the 15 patrons another memorable performance. - The 3rd Gravely Ghost Walk happened on Wednesday, Nov. 19th. I had a full-house booked (over 50 people) however the snow put a chill into the plans and only 17 braved the conditions. Still, it was a great way to end the season...or so I thought. - The 2nd Gravely Ghost Walk Friday, Nov 14th was the highlight. The rains held off and 44 people came out. It was so much fun and it was obvious that the people were really into it. - The first walk on Nov. 12th saw 20 brave souls face the unknown by participating in the first ghost walk through Wolfville. Thanks to everyone who came out. We appreciate the support! |

Thank you Andy & Ariana for giving Jerome a chance to recite
a Dr. Watson Kirkconnell poem about Ebenezer Bishop's young love. The Night Kitchens are the first Saturday of the month from September-June at the Al Whittle Theatre. (Seriously, can you imagine walking across the Minas Basin?!?) |

Gravely Ghost Walk Season #1"I've been looking after this place since 1763 and I've seen many a curious face wandering abou,t, but nothing quite compares to you lot!" "In convocation hall there is a founders tablet with the names: Harding, Higgins, Johnson, Cramp, Chipman and Crawley. The same names of which can be found beyond these walls..." "Now, it would be easy to assume that everything was on the up and up with this fella here. Afterall, his name can be found on the Founders' Tablet in Convocation Hall..." - the story of Rev. Edmond Crawley "It was, by far, the most tragic event in Acadia's history and the school was quite fortunate to have recovered..." "They say with death comes notoriety, "...I wonder if our lads thought of Wolfville's mud |
